I also get about 300 miles per tank. I put in 15 gallons at every fill up, simple math works out to 20 mpg. I have over 75,000 miles.

Mine has been stuck on 16.5 mpg for as long as I can remember. I drive 32 miles each way, 80% of that on the freeway.

All depends on how you drive. I avg 21.1 with mixed driving. I do care about the mpg. I work from home so all driving is just pleasure.

I recently had the Dinan cold air intake installed (amongst other dinan stuff) and on a recent road trip avg 24mpg. All cruise control at 75 then a little in city driving dropped me to 23.6.

+1, if you drive in a city, your MPG falls flat on it's face.

I get 15mpg city & best I've seen in Europe was 20mpg highway. But that's because of the speeds. I no shit get better gas mileage at 120mph sustained that puttering around in the US at 80mph or so. Best I've seen here is no better than 18mpg on the free-ways due to the lower speeds.

16 mpg won't get you 300 miles in the M3. The tank only holds 16 gallons so even if you run it to empty at 16 mpg you'd only make it just over 250 miles...

best MPG ever - 22.5
worst - 6.0
avg. MPG - 12-15

Not that I care, but in reality, this is what every SUV owner / soccer mom in america (and there a ton of them) get as well. Comparable to a "normal" vehicle in a sense.
