JBSPEED Buyer Beware

Unhappy with the level of customer service I received from vendor JBSPEED.

Ordered set of silver M3 pedals on March 8th. Contacted Brian on March 15th to inquire on where they were and why I had not received them. He said they would ship in the next week. Contacted him on March 24th, and he said he still did not have an ETA. He offered black pedals or the AC option in silver. I told him I still wanted what I ordered.

Contacted him today (4/3) and still not ETA on pedals. He refunded my money and told me he would contact me when the silvers were actually available.

Held my money for almost a month, with no product or accurate updates on when product would arrive. Buyer beware, or at least ensure product is in-hand before making a purchase with JBSPEED.

I actually had the same exact problem with another part I ordered from them. After two weeks of him "checking " I just asked for my money back. He sent it back right away then tried to sell me a different product he had in stock.

Some things they bring in from overseas so expect up to a 60 day wait which isn't that bad. You waited 21 days which IMO is nothing. Be patient.

I have ordered from them and overseas items and they took a couple weeks to arrive but they did and in excellent condition.

So they probably just make a markup on the ebay items we could buy ourselves since those are from china as well

I ordered and paid for Non Vac High Kick rear spoiler on 5/8. It was delivered today, and installed today. Email communications were sufficient and tracking number provided. It came from Taiwan and looks fantastic, fitment is great, zero complaints.

I bought the CF grills after installing them a couple days later they bubbled up.
I sent pictures to Brian Tsai, after seeing them he told me to ship them to a CA.
address. After about a two weeks I received the news ones and they look great.
Got to remember UPS ground took 4 days out to CA.

^ this. If you're buying little cosmetic pieces use iND or EAS. You don't save that much and the quality is always better with those vendors. You drive an M3! Don't fake the funk

Same here!!!
Holding my money for over 3 weeks and then telling me there is damage on my order, they were willing to refund me 10% due to long time waiting+ damage. I just canceled order and asked for the full refund.

No issues with JBSpeed

I purchased carbon fiber splitters, spoiler, hood vents and mirror caps for my e92 (Sept 2014). Brian was very responsive via email. However, it did get irritating because I would have rather spoke to a person to resolve my issues. I think JBSpeed is a single person online shop and Brian needs to pay closer attention to customer satisfaction (which I also stressed to him via email). I would have preferred him to be more proactive in providing information to the customer about the order as opposed to the customer asking for it because it was either not given or provided late.

With that said, I got my order and one of the splitters was cracked. I had to take pictures of the item, the box and after exchanging emails I got my replacement. Turn around was quick but the email exchange was irritating.

Overall I am satisfied because the products I purchased were exactly as advertised and received a replacement for the damaged item.

I would definitely recommend Brian to other buyers.

Reviving this thread.

Future buyers beware, I just received a set of gloss black M3 e92 grills and upon install realized that a couple of the tabs didn’t line up.

After reaching out to jbspeed several times for a refund, it’s been about a week and I stil have not received any response or acknowledgment back from them

Never buying from them again.... luckily it was only a $70 lesson learned.

I had actually a good dealing with JBSpeed this past week. I ordered a black grill with the M color painted on one grill and a high kick spoiler for my e92.

The grill was perfect and aligned with the stock clip holes and was packaged great. Super easy install and top quality.

The high kick spoiler fit perfectly and was packaged perfectly. Upon inspection there was a small flaw at the tip of the spoiler which I sent an email and a discount was given and in my paypal account with in minutes of me emailing him. Honestly it’s a really small flaw and I still installed it.

Shipping was amazing. DHL and Fedex to my door in just under a week from ordering coming from Taiwan.

I planned on writing a review and including pictures of each. But saw this post and wanted to comment on how my transaction went.

some of you people want OEM quality stuff at the cheapest aftermarket prices.

Pony up the money and buy in the US from BMW itself or some other high end dealer.
I find that its the people who want to spend the least who complain the most...………...what the hell is wrong with you people?
