Recommendations for Best CF lip, please post pics!

Hello All!

I recently reached a big milestone in my life, and to celebrate I am going to do some cosmetic work to the front end of the M3, including a new CF lip, new paint on the front bumper and hood to eliminate the years of rock chips, and some sort of paint protection film/etc once the new paint has cured properly. Anyways, I have had a couple of cheap aftermarket lips over the years, but I am ready to drop some $$ on something a little more high quality this time around. I am looking for recommendations please, and I would love to see pics! Thank you in advance!

Don't drop high dollars for a front lip! Spend that on the Diffuser and skirts but never the lip. It is guaranteed to get destroyed by curbs, rocks etc. Go mid range so it's not as painful when it breaks.

Second that. Unless it's a show car, it WILL get scratched or destroyed eventually.

I really like the prices from POM for the replicas of challenge and GTS and GT4 style lips. They are 300-400 and reasonable for fitment. Please don't drop 1k or more on a lip. If you really have the urge to drop dollars get an exhaust and test pipes or something.

Personally think this is a good happy medium. I can help also, $395 shipped if you're in the USA.

Been a long time Mary!

360carbon, Alpha-N makes the exact replica GTS lips which would be best fitment outside of OEM.

Okay, I can see the logic behind this. Plus - this opens up already allocated money to go towards a diffuser lol

What would be classified mid-range? I was thinking that $385 for the one posted above was a good price.

The car will mostly be driven only to local car meets, minimal road time in general. But also mountain drives as well, so I think you guys are right. I am happy with my exhaust setup, so it looks like a diffuser has been added to the immediate list lol. I've heard of POM. I'm going to search around for pics now, thanks!

It's a good idea if you don't wanna spend a fortune. Fitment depends on the installer but 9/10 on my end.

I have the Alpha-N GTS rep and I'll be first to admit it's in a different league than the 360 Carbon offering, which is complete garbage by comparison.

IND is the sole NA distributor here so that makes it simple to order!

Yea its OEM > Alpha N > 360Carbon

Of course the 360carbon is still better in fitment than most lips I've seen out here. If only there was an ABS alpha N.. or 360carbon..

The 360 is FRP, but fitment on the one I had was quite bad. The quality of the carbon was also some of the worst I've seen. I'm sure there's a range from good to not so much, but that's a separate issue.

I wanted the OEM GTS lip for durability, but not for 5k! IND set me up with this one and it's pretty awesome. Still awaiting the upper and lowers return from PPF application and some better weather to get the car in for install. The winter here in CO just isn't cooperative this spring and I don't get the car out when there's a chance of poor weather.

Ahh. Yea, I got one of the first 5 FRP ones from the group buy originally and the fitment was far better than most aftermarket lips out here. That said, I knew the AlphaN is a better product and I'm kinda glad I didn't get it. My spin at T1 basically took out the lip within 2 drives..sooo #nolipgang

The best product and the best fit and the best looking are the genuine BMW M Performance front splitters.

OP where ate you located? I have a V-style rep lip (Vorsteiner), that just took off. Just mixing it up a lil bit, but loved the look. Perfect fitment. Has a SLIGHT blemish (from the previous owner). On the passenger "fang" (pictured). Im in CT $250 obo
