Camber plates: TMS Hybrid vs. GC Hybrid vs. GC Street
[EDIT: No longer interested in GC Hybrid because its bearings are unsealed]
Any feedback among these? Looking to pair one of these with 65mm/2.5" springs. I know the GC options are compatible and I'm pretty sure TMS told me theirs is as well (someone please correct me if I'm wrong about that). I'm partial to the TMS hybrid plate because: 1. Theoretically better feel/precision with less NVH than a plain spherical (hoping to hear whether that really pans out in practice) 2. Steering bearing 3. Keeps the spring completely perpendicular to the mount at all times (slightly less side force on the damper) 4. Supposed to conform to the top of the strut tower better Hoping to hear whether #1 pans out in practice and if #4 really matters for this platform. I've also been hearing that the NVH difference between a hybrid and a street plate is pretty significant, whereas the precision/feel difference is minimal at best, though that commentary didn't seem specific to this platform. Any thoughts?
