Is the "black chrome" mentioned from the factory?

I'm interested in items from the factory and believe BMW Individual has the capability...

None of those leather options are crash-certified for the USA because they are only offered in Merino leather.

The OEM 'black chrome' grills, gills etc. ala the M3 GTS can be purchased from most of the forum sponsors.

I have a set and love the look compared to the OEM matte or aftermarket gloss.

I'll post a pic later (or look through my threads).

The M3 was crash-certified with either Novillo leather/speed cloth or just Novillo leather. Individual only offers 4 Novillo colors: Rust Brown, Champagne, Platinum and Amarone.

I do not know if Novillo Platinum is the same shade as Merino Platinum.

Any other color will have to be dyed into a Novillo hide. I think that the Individual price for that is in the 5-figures.

Mine came with the shadow line trim, and I threw the OEM gloss kidneys, OEM side markers, IND gloss hood scoops, and IND keyhole cover on it.

Steve Thomas has one of the very few avail Frozen Red versions sitting inside its showroom right now! I think the sticker was $81,500.
Never seen that color in person, and it was SUPER slick!!! I'm still partial to my Frozen Grey, but that Frozen Red with all blacked out options and custom interior stitching rocks!

It's one of the best colors for an M3! As far as hard to capture accurately, I feel the same about SSII. Many shots end up more blue that it ever appears to the naked eye.

I got the Black Chrome stuff put on by the dealer. When I took delivery, the car was as I wanted it. The exhaust and spoiler were put on at the port.
