Looking forward to the pics! Curious how aggressive the 295's in the rear look with the ZCP wheels too...

OK... I took delivery and everything in phase 1 got done. I put some before pics and some after pics showing some of the mods. EAS did the install and turned out really well.

Here's the thread with EAS's pics and some good shots that show:
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=388786

- the AP intake elbow
- AIB's
- MS Filter
- Reflector cover
- RPI Scoops
- MS Spacers
- AD08's and
- Rogue Pulley

Other shots you'll see are of the Keyhole delete and Euro Visors.

A few notes...
1. The Dinan pulley wouldn't fit a 2011. The belts they supply are not the right size. I ended up substituting a Rogue pulley instead. FYI, the Dinan is the most aggressive we saw between the Rogue, Macht Schnell and Dinan - shame it didn't work.
2. The seatbelt coding didn't fly. Looks like BMW changed some things up for 2011 so anyone looking to get a tune or other other coding is SOL for a while until things update.

MY euro pdc bumper just showed up and going off to the paint shop. Phase 2 is coming soon... :-)
The first shots are "before". Thanks for looking - enjoy.

Oh WOW!!!! It's just stunning, just like I thought it would look. And what a "different" look that mine or any of the other light Novillo colors. It looks......slick, cool, sleek, ultra sophisticated....can't think of the right words but I love it. Holy shit did you ever make the right choice!!

A big thumbs up, it'll draw lots of attention (dirt too but lots of attention first and foremost)

Now with all that lower dash wrapping, you'd have thought they could do the dash just as easily. Can't wait to see if you get it done anyways.

Cheers brother....guess the best (your garage full) is yet to come!!!

And the tire sizes for the Yoko's.....that's what this thing should have come with standard. Don't tell BMW you switched though, they'll get upset that their EDC settings will be thrown off

Mark

So can I ask you... is platinum leather REALLY white... or does it look like it's slightly beige or something?

that is goregous !!! So classy, well done !!

How does it drive with the big rubber on? the car should have had that size on from the start.

Yokohama Advan AD-08's 255/35/19" and 295/30/19" right? I would love to hear how it handles before and after... you have increased the stagger, do you feel any additional understeer? How is the ride? How is the traction?

Beautiful !

Thanks guys.

Mark M - you're right, they went too thin on the tire sizes. The AD-08's are much more aggressive looking. The handling feels really sharp. 295's are so wide in the back, I couldn't even use spacers. I tried, no room. BTW, I saw your interior - really clean. Monte Carlo and Rust is a great combo. On my interior, I love it. You're right about the dirt though. Hand prints show up pretty easy. Small price to pay. I'll just keep leather wipes handy.

Dutch - It's light beige. It doesn't really look white, kind of a light tan.

DaFish - Yeah, love the big rubber. The best I say so far is that feels ever so slightly harder than PS2's / Conti's, but sharper in handling and still very comfortable. High speed corners feel unbelievably confident. I haven't pushed extremely hard yet because I'm still in break in but it seems like it's going to be harder to break loose with these. The stagger has increased, it's now 40mm with 255 front and 295 rear. I haven't noticed more understeer but it might take some time. Traction is ridiculous. Insane. I feel like there's no limit to how fast I can corner.

sliu - I did an individual order with Philippe there. Ask Mark's M about that... he's probably the most knowledgeable guy here on individual orders. The platinum is beautiful. Exactly what I was looking for. My girlfriend described it like being in a nice new house where you're almost afraid to touch anything.

GORGEOUS! Hopefully, you don't wear jeans too often.

That interior is going to be a bitch to maintain and clean... It's absolutely stunning!

Congrats!

Congrats, great looking interior. I suspect platinum would look good with just about any exterior color.

Are you kidding me?! Will wearing jeans REALLY stain the white leather blue?!
That's horrible

I'd never be able to order this lovely leather just because of my clothing?!

Congrats! The interior looks amazing. The old me would say get a seat cover so you don't ruin those beautiful seats, but f-it! Life's too short, enjoy it while you can.

Aren't those tires great? I just got some mounted on my car as well. So grippy!

I had that color interior on my Lexus SC430 (called 'ecru', with bird's eye maple wood), and even with my anal habits, seats started looking black right away. They were a b*tch to maintain clean indeed. Just like a black exterior, never again a light interior for me, but looks stunning when clean indeed .

Based on everyone's comments, I'm in the market for a good leather cleaner / wipes that's not too greasy and shiny like most. I tried the Meguires - no deal. The leather looks matte but the cleaners are greeeeezy. Any suggestions?

You'll get Lexol or Leatherique from everyone here.

Both are the best, if that makes any sense!
