Not knowing much about the C63 Black series, I am assuming you mean the plaque and paint job comment is aimed at the M3, because it is exactly that.

The answer is very obvious..

The fair comparison would be the C63 Black with the M3 GTS which was the absolute pinnacle of the E92 generation, but that car never came to the US. Instead the US got an M performance parts bin special with orange paint.
