TPMS won't go away on 08 E92
My TPMS error won't go away on my 08 and I don't have iDrive. The TPMS button does nothing and when I try to scroll through the check control menu to try to reset the TPMS, I'm not allowed to and there's no option for reset, even when I do the whole thing where you hold the button down for 10 seconds. Any ideas?

Perhaps one of your TPMS sensors failed. They have a battery in them and my assumption is that they are original from 2008 or 11-12 years old.
Does it indicate which wheel? I think the large box tire shops have a tool to detect TPMS activity. Perhaps call your local Discount Tire and inquire if they can run a diagnostic with that tool.

you have to double push the bc button and then hold to initialize the system. use the thumb wheel to scroll to the tpm light, push, release, push, hold and keep holding until the light turns to a different color. Some systems will state "resetting" or "initializing"

Locate a scanner that supports BMW codes so you have a clear understanding what the issue is - before guessing at fixes.
If you're in the Anaheim area anytime soon - we can scan and find the issue immediately.
