This car is dope AF. Does it all.

Srysly what other car has a sick NA V8 revving over 8k with an amazing dual clutch trans that can haul all your stuff and still be super comfortable.

Right? I shed a tear for people who have fixed rear seats.

So true...it cant even carry 1. The the rack mount the e92 M3 can allow 4 people in the car and their boards....and the e92 rack system comes on and off in 5 min! The F80 M3 doesn't have the rack option from what I understand.

I don't have fold down seats and I literally just got back from Rincon. I'm also not a kook riding a Costco wavestorm. Not saying OP is a kook, but fold down seats are not a deal breaker. Agree this car is freakin' sick.

Good eye. The wavestorm and skimboard is for my 9 year old. I'm old now and so my go-to board is a stout 6'6" Infinity (i live at Salt Creek close to infinity). I can barely turn now so maybe i'm back to kook status but back in the day I lived on O'ahu and the winters were spent surfing the North Shore.

these cars are the most versatile out there. people can't believe how much crap i bring to the track, plus my wife and the dog. when i pull into the garage and start to offload the car, its like a clown car at a circus, but its track stuff. lol.

i got an extended security torque star set and i use my power ratchet (i'm bringing it anyways to swap pads) and blast it off. roof racks sort of seem like a hassle, but it is really easy and practical.

Wait a sec, so do you mount and dismount the roof rack bars at the track?

Also, I'm thinking about getting the base roof rack bars set from the dealer, and then add the necessary add-ons for a mountain bike and surfboard. Can I carry (2) surfboards with the roof rack system?

I'm nervous AF about tinkering with the install process of connecting the base bars to the roof, do you have any pics of the way you did it?

Thank you!

Cheers,
Merlin

Its just 4 bolts that thread into the threads under the flap doors on your roof mldgs. shouldnt take anybody more than 10min to remove a factory roof rack.

Yes, it takes about one minute. It's four torque star bolts with an extended bit for my power ratchet. The basket for the wheels is custom constructed out of aluminum to keep weight down.
