Gintani exhaust and diffusers...

Hey guys I am thinking of switching to the Gintani sport mufflers from my Eisenmann Race. The race is just too loud with the high flow cats and resonated x-pipe since my car will be a dd again(perhaps I am getting old lol). I have yet to find a single pic of an e9x M3 with Gintani mufflers and a CF rear diffuser. Is this because the tips are too damn big and won't clear the diffuser? Or perhaps they are too big and touch the diffuser? Some help would be appreciated. Basically, if I ed up keeping the M3 I will switch to either the Gintani sport, Eisenmann sport, Dinan, or Bastuck v2...

3F is finishing up a diffuser thats made to fit the bigger tips (gintani, akra)

So it's for sure then that the Gintani tips are too big for the Vorsteiner type I diffuser?

no, thats not what i meant. I dont know about that. But was just throwing some extra info in the mix

Gintani is now making smaller tips at 83mm in size I believe.

I asked about this and was told they are not offering smaller tips...

90mm tips fit inside a VRS diffuser.

They are big but im pretty sure they fit inside most rear diffusers...and like Sam said 3F is making their diffuser to accomadate for all exhaust, good move on their part, im gonna wait off for their rear diffuser.

I think the Gintani tips do fit behind a Vorsteiner diffuser

They are offering 83mm tips in one to two weeks.

I just sold my Remus Race Exhaust to another M3post member in my town

P-streets is his site name he is in the military like myself and I gave him a very low military discount price. The Remus Race was in excellent condition. I had no problem with the Remus Race it sounded really good

I just wanted some more deep in your face type horse power sound

with the Horses to back it up

Shady - when did you get the new exhaust? Also, did you get the sport or race version?

The new exhaust looks great. We're going to have to do another exhaust video now

It was hard on one side because the diffuser did not want to stay mounted correctly nothing double sided tape could not fix

Get a S/C kit .... I know your thinking about for sure. its just a matter of time.

I got the exhaust when I was in California

Mr Harris on the M3post site sold it to me because it was to loud for the people in the area he lives in

No problem for me I live next door to a cop and he likes my car plus my wife takes care of their kids sometimes so I am sure that helps

I will take a rain check on the exhaust video. I will be up in DFW this weekend with Nawaaz along with other members for cars and coffee
