E90 M3 on Top Autos

Hi all,

I'm new here, so hi everyone.

As a long time fan of the M3 (my personal favourite is actually the E46...) I've been helping my colleague do up his E90 M3. It's quite a rare model as it's the 4 door E90 as opposed to the 3 door E92. In stock form it was quite bland looking, but we've since added carbon fibre skirts and door mirrors (among other visual improvements), and also a racing exhaust, which really transforms the sound of the NA V8. Also the M3 RPM plate which we think is pretty cool.

We reckon with the new exhaust the BHP is around 440. We've long been arguing over where it's quicker than my Stage 1 Remapped Audi TTRS, which is around 400bhp (0-60 in 3.7s or so).. I think the TT would have the M3 up to 100mph, but then it's anyone's guess.

Anyway, here are some pics and also a link to the two cars on Top Autos.

Would be interested to see what you all think!

Here is the E90 in Stock form

Here it is after a few visual updates and the new reg plate:

Here's the E90 on Top Autos:

vs my TTRS on Top Autos:

Be good to hear everyone's thoughts on the M3. Not sure much on my TTRS as I know what BMW owners think of the TT...! Despite the fact I know mine is quicker.

For what it's worth, the e92 is a 2 door. It has a boot lid, not a hatchback.

I'm not really a fan of the E90's myself but I gotta say that one looks pretty nice. I like the black and white contrast,

Haha, is yours a stock E90? Then I wouldn't waste my time :P

Ah yes correct, it is a 2-door. I do like the E90 myself, but my colleague has 3 kids and needed the extra doors for practicality.

I must admit those are pretty cool. The M3 would certainly be the better machine for that type of driving!
