Melbourne Red is not doing it for me...i dunno i have to see it with the 19" rims or with the rims that were on the concept at Geneva. I wanna see Imola make a return though. For now i'd go with Alpine White w/either fox red or cinammon interior

with the Alpine White you would be able to see the carbon roof, the body designs, only reason I dont wanna go with black because you cannot see most of the features the car has to offer

Got a silly q. do the premium colors cost 475$ over the red and white or will they all cost the same like M5? Newbie here I like white till now and my 05 X5 is a gray one.

Funny to me how many are choosing white. It seems like many are subject in a very effective way to BMW marketing efforts. Not that they care what color anyone buys but I suspect if all the pics and vids were done in another color white would be much less popular. From my observations white has not been popular at all on M3s thus far.

true but havent liked the e46 M3 that much in white....i prefer the e46 M3 in interlagos blue.....take a look at a white M6 and youll see the difference between black and white on the M6 and E92 M3.....my friend has a sapphire black M6 you cant tell that much on what car it is unless you see it from behind or if your an expert on cars tell from the mirros

Or it could just be that white goes the best with the CF roof.

There are a lot of red car pics too, but not many are interested as far as I can tell.

Have you decided between sunroof or CF? I know you were wanting both. If CF, will that affect/influence your color choice?

the e92 body styling just lends itself nicely to alpine white i think. obviously my current 335i coupe is in alpine white, so i'm pretty sure that at least i'm not the subject of effective marketing efforts haha.

it's interesting to me that alpine white and interlagos blue have accumulated the most votes on this poll, since those are the two colors that i found myself most drawn to. seems the buying community tends to agree.

( but i have to say i was really looking forward to a nice yellow from bmw this time. i'm a little disappointed. and by a little i mean a lot.)

For me it`s the red or the blue, must say; the more I see the red ( especialy in those beautifull video`s) the more I like it. In the sun it seems more bright than on picture. Also the CF roof is a fantastic contrast to the red.

White is boring to me, however I can imagine you would chose the white in verry sunny areas. For the Netherlands however, white is not a verry good choice

I agree. When the E90 was first released, there were a lot of pictures of Sparkling Graphite. Before I knew it, almost everyone was buying a sparkling graphite E90. So far, I have seen the E92 M3 in Chrome Shadow (which is unavailable), Alpine White (which actually looks very nice), and Red (which I really don't care for).

From what I've seen, it would be a toss up between Space Gray and Alpine White. The only problem is that my wife already wants an E60 in Alpine White.

Those are my two first choices at this point, as well, along with the red interior. Wish a saddle tan or brown interior were going to be offered.

i guess i'm in the minority as far as preferring regular black to jerez black. i don't like the blue sheen jerez puts off... but i guess the truest test would be seeing it in person.

but a RUBY BLACK m3 from bmw individual's color palette would be f***ing stunning. bmwusa really needs to bring back individual to the its entire line.

I love the Melbourne Red. It looks fairly close to legendary Imola Red.
