when I weighed it on a normal scale (ones we use efor our weight) it was about 40lbs. So if I remember correctly... stock is 55lbs?

I'll get some videos of the exhaust today! I appreciate all the comments!

also there's a couple extra photos in the album on Flickr of the install

I can't wait to hear this!

How does the control module control the actuators? For example, the valves are normally closed and the module sends 12v to open them? Reason I ask is because I would prefer to discard the wireless setup and wire in a (hidden) toggle switch.

I Believe so, but i'll double check with the manufacturer. I'll also look into a wired toggle solution. I know with the other electronic valves (the QTP ones and the ones evolve uses) you can implement a toggle.

Kind of surprised how quiet it is closed even catless but I like it, quiet can be quiet and loud can be ridiculous depending on upstream components.

Sounds like a Kreissieg but a tad lower tone.

Sounds like he was revving during a cold start lol

Edit: Listened to a couple vids of Kreissieg, opened it's kind of similar, but closed it's like driving stock

The dog seems pretty impressed....

Closed sounds almost like an E46 M3 (which is not a bad thing so long as the bass is there, too).

The sound when open is perfect! When it is closed it needs a little something. It almost sounds a little tinny. I am getting more and more interested by the day.
As you have progressed the design, do you have a better idea on price?

Anyway to get the flapper painted black so you don't see it as much when closed?

Or maybe it will be coated black by the exhaust eventually...

Open sounds great for open... not sure of the closed sound. I'll check it out in person. iPhones don't capture bass very well

Some suggestions for doing the drive-by
- If WOT, please don't let off in front of the camera, let off a bit after passing the camera.
- Do some 2500, 3000, 45000 passes.
- Perform a deceleration pass
- remember when approaching the camera we tend to hear mostly induction noise as the exhaust noise travels mostly away from the camera.

Same with in-cabin which where we live anyway.

- Final note: WOT imho is the least pleasant sound and most exhausts sound similar at WOT.

I respect your time and efforts so anything you provide will be appreciated.
