VERT GUYS Help!

19 or 20? What is the best size rims to put on the E93 and what size do you currently have. I am looking to purchase rims and wanted to know who had what on their cars, and how is the ride quality did it get better or worse. Also if you dropped the car after putting the rims on, does it rub?

That’s what she said…

If you do 19s on stock suspension they’ll be no rub, with 20s you’ll have to maybe play around with offsets and yes the ride quality will suffer.

No drop! Stock M220 (chrome) with PSS 275/255. Still looking to get spacers to push 'em out a bit, but they do fill the wheel well pretty nicely!

Here is what you have to look forward to with 15mm front and 12mm rear:

Nice! (are you on 265/245's?) I do want to go with 15/12 spacers and hoping my slightly larger tires won't rub... I've heard I'll be okay.

In this pic something is done on our ///M220 wheels !
BTW...don't you have steering wheel vibrations with your spacers ?

I do not notice a significant difference between my factory OEM 19s and aftermarket 20s as far as ride quality. If anything, the 20s are more comfortable since they are so wide, I can coast over a lot of road imperfections.

Have you dropped your car or put on any spacers after going with 20s? And does it rub?

That's the look I want!

Nope, no issues with any vibration and they were black annodized off of eBay (like $130 w/ free shipping for the set including black extended lug bolts). Mine are hub-centric and fit extremely tight. Not like they could go anywhere if they wanted to...

It does not rub at all with 255/30/20 in front and 305/25/20 in back sitting on Dinan springs. When I had the car on H&R Race springs, the front wheels rubbed the liner on 3/4-full lock.

Friend of mine runs 315 in the back on Eibachs with no issues.

I'm with this fella
I am also dropped and do not use spacers. I prefer my setup over the stock 19" wheels.
To each their own.

IMHO, don't go 20's (looks slightly off and sacrificed ride comfort) ... Here's my 19" with KW sleeve kit:
