okay, for some strange reason it won't let me go to page 48, even though it says there is one.

now that i'm more awake: i found this linked on www.rideroom.com/forums so decided i would come over and see what all the fuss was about. i'm glad that i did, and good stuff on the results (as of now - we'll just have to see with the stipulations)

I hope that they don't set a lot of conditions that worsens the deal too much. I think the dealership should take it as a screw up on their side and honor the deal.

For some reason I can predict that a confidenciality agreement is in place and we may never hear the truthful end to this. If thats the case then people are going to assume the worst, so bad for the dealer anyways.

I don't think dooma would sign anything that said he's never allowed to post to the forum again under his same identity. Keep in mind, if he is indeed getting the car today (or even soon) he will be on plane to Nebraska today and spending the day closing the deal.

Most likely there will be some terms involving what he can and can't say about the transaction. But I'm sure he will report back with pics of the car when he gets it. We might never get the exact selling price and details, but obviously if he walks away with the car then he reached a favorable resolution. Otherwise, he'd be heading to court most likely.

Well yeah, but then people will assume that the dealer sold him the car and put some crazy conditions on it, or people will get mad at Dooma for selling out. Now I personally don't care because the important thing here was for him to get the car and hopefully that will be achieved, but im sure some people will take it personally if we never hear from him.
