^ This. Why does the rust matter? It'll be gone before you get to the end of your block. I'd wonder what's in that serum and how it effects the brake components/performance, especially if it's being made in a dude's garage. I don't doubt its effectiveness against rust, but wonder at what expense?

359s really transform E93s!

My issue with it is that if I drive shortly after washing I get brown brake slurry all over the barrels of my wheels and if I wait for it to dry completely it turns in to a fine golden brown dust that coats my wheels that I just painstakingly cleaned. Yes, braking removes the residue but at the expense of my sanity.
I will be buying the rust stopper, will report back with how it works.

Understood, yeah I also get that brown mess on the barrel which is a bit of a shame after a nice wash. Appreciate your report!

yea, because 359M especially when it's clean inside and out, the rust residue can be very noticeable.
That's why I literally drive the car back and forth like 5 times in my driveway to get it off after carwash, and slightly re-clean my rims

Just switched from ZCP's after 2 years.

Decided to try BBS LM's but I do love those satin black ZCP's.

Question fellow ZCP owners. I have a set of 220 with winter rubber, Vorsteiner VFF101 for agressive wheels and a set of ZCP because they're the best looking stock wheels ever made. I have one rear rim with curb rash, the shop (pro level competence) tells me the hyper silver is almost impossible to match, they recommend redoing two wheels so at least one side is a complete match if not all 4. My thought is, maybe I redo them all and go different? I've had a set of ZCP AGs I powder coated in gunmetal and while the color was money, the gloss didn't work for the wheel IMO. I wouldn't redo them in that color. I like the satin black GTS, but too dark for my dark blue car. I saw a set of Porsche Platinum satin on the forum on these wheels, and it's honestly the best of everything I want: Darker charcoal to match my Blue but not too dark, satin finish to show off the lines of the wheels and the shop can do all the wheels for 500 (vs 375 for two hyper silver wheels)

Thoughts?

The OE ZCP wheel color is impossible to match.

That being said, i think its the best color for the 359 wheel. I have played with the idea of changing colors, but i always come back to the hypersilver. I had my set refinished as close to the original color as possible.

Do you know what color they used? As far as I know they can do a hyper silver paint which is like 4 parts? Or a platinum Silver Powder coat which is close to the color but doesn't have the depth the paint will.
