Convert electronic perf. steering wheel back to stock?
I had the first generation electronic performance steering wheel installed when they first came out, but it stopped working and it's looking it's age.
Is re-installing to stock wheel a simple plug and go or would it require a complete reversal, going back to the oem harness and messing with wiring and interior panels again? Thanks. |

complete reversal unfortunately, you change the connectors for the clock spring (and the clock spring itself) when installing it.

Just remove all the connectors. Wiring harness and so on. Pull out the wheel. Install the oem wheel. Simple I had a gen 2 perf wheel I removed before a sale and it took 10 mins (I installed it so I knew where all the wires were)
