NBT evo ID6 (or other) retrofit

Hi all,

Having just completed a CIC retrofit I’m now considering an NBT evo ID6.

I just put one of these in my mini and am very pleased with it.

I have great support here in the uk but have a question or two that I think could be best answered here.

I have individual audio (top level - can’t remember what you call that), whether this matters or not I don’t know, but I’ve been told that one of the few issues is echo when making phone calls.

This can apparently be resolved by fitting an F series amp - this brings me to two questions.

Is there an f series amp that is as good (quality/power out wise) as the 850w?? Individual audio amp?

I was consider an aftermarket audison amplifier anyway, would this have the same benefit in solving the echo problem as an f series amp?

i didnt have any issues with echo using my factory individual amp.

That’s interesting.

I wonder if the other examples have come from lower spec amp cars.
