This might be dumb, but has anyone else have problems with a BMW performance shift knob not staying on? I pushed it on pretty hard and it feels tight. But after a bit of shifting it wants too come off. :

had the same problem on my previous 335i, go to the dealer where you buy it and change it to a new one.

They usually need a good whack to stay on if they are pushed on like the OEM one.
