Lots of options on the market. Choosing the right kit depends on what you have done, and what you plan to do with your car. We have a video on that topic that you can see here:

If you want to learn more about big brake kits in general, be sure to check out our Essex Learning Center and FAQ
: https://www.essexparts.com/support/learning-center--faq

Road vs. Competition
We offer two different types of kits, which we call Road or Competition systems. You can see the differences between them here:

Specific BBK options for the e90/92:

You can see our front and rear system options for the e90/e92 here:

AP Racing Radi-CAL

The Radi-CAL is the most advanced caliper technology today, and not available from any other manufacturer at any price. They are lighter, stiffer, and run cooler than anything else.

Owner reviews and feedback
You can find lots of owner feedback here on these forums by searching 'essex'. We have loads of customer reviews on the Essex Blog as well, including many specifically about our e9x BBKs: https://www.essexparts.com/news-blog

Support and Service
One important thing to keep in mind when choosing a brake kit is the type of support and service you'll receive in the future. There are lots of fly-by-night, one-person 'shops' offering 'brake upgrades' (I use that term loosely) all over the world. You can find many example threads here on this forum in which people participate in group buys, never receive a product, the product doesn't fit properly, the vendor disappears, it isn't what they hoped for, they can't get spare discs, etc. Some of our competitors have gone out of business, are in the midst of restructuring, etc.

That is the complete opposite of our situation and model. We are in great shape and full steam ahead. When you purchase an AP Racing by Essex Brake Kit, you can be confident that the product will bolt on without any other modifications, that you'll be able to speak with a human on a phone if you have any problems, that you'll be able to get spare parts, and that we'll still be here five years from now if you need us (we've been in busy since 1983!). You can also be sure that the product will exceed your expectations and handle anything you can throw at it on the street or track.

Our systems are not the cheapest, but they are the most complete package of proven, race-winning performance, coupled with an extremely easy and positive long-term ownership experience.

After you've done a little legwork and research, feel free to reach out to us for guidance on choosing the kit that best fits your car and needs. We have a dedicated staff available by pm, email, chat, phone, etc.
