Looks like < 3mm of clearance to the strut. I'm not sure that's really enough clearance when you account for tire and wheel deflection once you are actually under lateral load in a corner. Also as things heat up, they expand.

What's the most street friendly setup that you can get with 275 in the front?

Without knowing if you have any modifications to your car I'd suggest either a 10" wide wheel et25 or a 9.5" wide wheel et22.

I have Ohlins R&T without camber plates. I would really like to get 275/35/18 in the front and a 295 or 305 in the rear.

I bet a 285/30-18 on an 11 up front would feel really lively

With Ohlins RT, I would run a 10" wide et25 wheel in the front. Are you planning to run 18's or 19's? And have you decided on tires and sizes?

I would like 18s. I have looked at tires but it seems like tireracks selection changes more often than my gfs nails. For daily use I would like a ps4s. Thanks a lot for all the feed back. F:275/35/18 R: 295/30/18 seems like the most options. I haven't checked diameter of the rear to see how it matches up with the stock diameter though

You don't need to match the stock diameter. The car is designed around a square snow tire setup from the factory and the stability control is very tolerant of different tire setups. It's a non-issue IMO

295/30 is shorter than stock, it's shorter than the stock front tires for that matter, but again, who cares. Rear gets lower, shorter gearing, these are good things fro going fast.

If you do want to match the stock diameters and go wider with 18's, 275/35 and 295/35 front/rear is about the closest you can get, but PSS is the only decent summer tire sold in those sizes currently and it's an old man at this point

Keep in mind the PS4S comes in 275 and 285/35-18. 275/285 is the same stagger the F90 comes with from the factory. The 285/35-18 is just as "big" a tire as a 295/30, because it's much taller. For a rear tire, bigger diameter is helpful for traction, especially if you're making a lot more power than stock

I'm using 275/30-19 PS4S on 9.5" ET23 stock wheels, square, with a 5mm spacer in the back right now. It ahs plenty of rear grip, if you're just wanting the bigger tire because you want it to look meatier, I get it, but if you're near stock power 275's square is plenty of tire for a street car, and you can rotate

Also keep in mind, if the concern is rain traction when you think "street friendly", wider is generally not better in the rain

So far on the canyon sprint I did it was too much grip for me to test on the street ofcourse lol

I just wanna see how the side wall stiffness is really, ofcourse the nt01 is a superior tire, but hey why not give it a try and see what happens

And thanks man!

StripclubDJ Feedback on the R888R's?
So, it's kinda of mixed feedback
Becuz of the staggered setup and my lack of front aero compared to the rear aero and mechanical grip out back

Overall I'm happy , the sidewall stiffness was something I appreciated
I was able to place the car where I wanted and that's something the nt01 lacks in my eyes, is feedback

Things I don't like, but it's to soon to tell until I go back with a add on splitter
And if squares it might not be the case

The fronts were pretty tired about 5-6 laps in in 90deg weather

I wanna do another 2 days on them before my final thoughts
But as off now the feedback is better than nt01, where nt01s have more overall grip

But again take it with a grain of salt becuz im still going through setup changes at the same time

This setup looks sexy! These camber plates are on my black Friday list.

I did 285/30/18 Cup2 on 10.5 in front (295 on 11 in rear). It felt good but I would not describe it as lively. The steering feels heavy. The front end grip is nice

Wonder if there's a point where we're adding so much more lever arm acting against the steering rack with the wheel width changes, pushing the wheel in and out an inch or more than than stock such that you're just not going to get back the nice light stock 245 on a 9 feel no matter what you do and you might as well go all-in. It's never going to be a Ferrari that can get away with a 235 up front with good mid-corner grip/balance AND perfect feel you sortof have to pick two on an FR

yes, and yes. My car is full options/weight with DCT and I typically run 4x30min sessions per day, unless I get a late start in which case I may run only 3 sessions.

As a point of reference, I typically get 5 days out of a set of NT01's (275 square) with the rears incurring more wear then the fronts.

That's 20 sessions of 30 minutes. That seems pretty good. I plan on running the same set up. I don't plan on doing 30 minute sessions.

If he said 7x30 min
And does 4 a day
That means these tires lasted 2 days almost

If I think I'm correct lol
