Not sure what you're suggesting here, but if it's that Mike may be creating shill accounts to promote himself, as someone who knows him personally I can confirm that Mike has lots of positive reviews from lots of people because he does consistently great work.

Coding is not the same as tuning.

I don't know the precise details of the ban. That said, even though I've seen Mike get into the occasional flame war (like the cost of the Nav DVD upgrade), those were rare and often edited later (by Mike) to tone it down. At other times the heated discussions were with other vendors because Mike was calling them out on BS. If you take a look at how he treats his customers (determined by reading his customer-facing posts as well as testimonials), I think you'll find that he delivers a consistently excellent experience for them.

Mike is a standup guy, his banning had nothing to do with inferior service or product. Believe me when I say this community lost another very knowledgeable person who was a major asset to this board.

I love my tune it's a shame that he's banned. Crazy talented, reasonable, and follows through on his promises. Wish Mike was back.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Mike is the man. I can't believe anyone on this forum would suggest otherwise, if your don't believe all the positive reviews to be true, give him a call and just inquire about what services he can offer you, I firmly believe you will feel differently.

I know I don't have the full knowledge of their histories but it made me think twice.

Getting these reviews up are a step in the right direction but what of the recent happenings.
I somewhat feel the same way. From all accounts, he offers a great service, but his threads about tickets/police and even his old racing threads from e46fanatics lol make me wonder.

Nothing to wonder about, we've all made our mistakes in our younger years.

My experience with Mike has been nothing but exceptional, and his after sales service is unparalleled in an industry filled with fly by night entities.

Mike, as well as others who are interested in the performance aspect of these cars, are now hanging out on German Boost dot com. He updated my car to the current 231e software. Stand up guy. Wish I could say the same for others.
