It locks in to the oil filler cap and extends up. Won't fall off or move. No fear of spills and lets you dump quarts with ease.

Already making a trip to sears for a 16mm socket. Not sure why my socket set skips from 15 to 17mm. Going smooth though, not too much cursing coming from under the car.

Ha, sounds like me. I can't do any work at home without at least two trips to Home Depot. One to get the stuff I need and another to get the stuff I forgot in the first trip.

You may have a standard equivalent?

5/8 = 16mm.

Now I have to go check my socket set and see if they did the same thing (omitted metric sizes where they are the same as SAE).

E torx socket. They strip easily with regular sockets. Looks like E14 or E16

Once i stripped it more with the next size up, the correct size went on deeper and I got it off.

Well I'm stuck... solid diff bushings make for a ridiculously tight fit. I could probably hammer it in, but for obvious reasons, I won't. I tried lowering the transmission, but it's not enough. Anyone have any ideas?

Loosen the subframe. It'll let you move the rear end of the car around a little

I was about to give up and put everything back because I don't have the proper tools or knowledge to drop the subframe. I jacked the DCT back up to put the oem shaft back on and the carbon shaft slipped into place!
