First BBK. Moving up from OEM rotors/calipers with Cobalt XR2 race pads.

Excellent! Congrats! Very very nice stopping power with these. Sooooo consistent.

Are you staying with Cobalt Friction? It looks like Cobalt in the caliper. I've been running XR2 for 5 years. Been very happy. Just tried XR1 in December. Wow. Higher torque and feels like even more crazy stopping power. The slicks really respond well to XR1.

What tires are you running? (XR1 can be too much for a street tire.)

It's hard to see the pad thickness in the pic. Is this the 25mm or 18mm kit?

18mm XR2 is what went on. I was running the XR2 with my OEM rotors. The XR1's would definitely be too much for my tires, I run Hankook RS4s currently.

Yeah, XR1 is too much for street tires. A few years ago, I drove an M3 (not mine) that had AP Racing, XR1 and Hankook RS3. The ABS kicked in all the time. But XR2 was great. If you move to slicks at some point, XR1 might be a good option. I've only driven my new XR1's for a couple sessions, but the difference in feel is QUITE noticeable. I'm liking the higher torque.

Awesome communication and price
Do they have a fb or instagram? Couldn't find anything.

How do you like the RS-4s? I'm running them for the first time and they certainly last longer than NT-01s or RE71Rs. I did a quick review under the NT-01 thread.

I checked for social media and there wasn't any I could find. They seem like a smaller company. Would be nice if they had some social media to get their work out there

I like them. Better than the ADR08's I had on previously.

They wear very nicely. Definitely last longer than the RE71s or NT01s but offer less overall grip (which is fine for me, honestly). They are at the grippiest on the first 2-3 laps then they start to get a little greasy, but as long as you aren't overdriving the car nothing that a cool down lap won't cure.

Had a ZHP for years. Loved that car. Dozens of track days and still going strong when I sold her with 212k miles. Congrats!

RS3s seemed to like lower pressures...not sure if that's the case with the RS4s. The downside is noticeably shorter lifespan.

Part of being an amateur semi-handy man in the garage, is you have to admit your goofs... unless you're keen enough to cover them up. Tonight I failed and then won.

The wife's 335d had four blown out holes in the front bumper where the license plate mounted. The holder was loose at best, so it wasn't going back on. So I was thinking, ok- I'm going to glue some penny's to the back of these holes then fill the holes with bondo, wet sand it, and use that color matched vinyl to make quarter sized paint stickers to cover the bondo.

Turns out, 600 grit wet sanding will make the paint lok dull. lol

So now my four small holes turned into an 18"x5" scuff. Wife was looking for something to konk me on the head with as I was assuring her (with great confidence) it was going to buff out. Yea, it didn't.

So I used a large patch of that vinyl and covered a fairly large area. I'm saved! It came out pretty damn good and you can only tell it's there if you're really hunting for it. Looks like a clear bra where the end of the sticker meets the paint.

I would have smoothed out the holes more, but when I realized I was scuffing paint, I chickened out on making it perfect. I may revisit this soon now that I know how good it works.

How's that soft setting for you? I'm getting a dinan and was gonna start at medium.

Soft feels good. Was previously at medium. I like the front end grip mid corner. Still have some lean by looking at track photos. Will just adjust the JRZ dampers stiffer. Recent track day was at 13 out of 24 clicks, will go up one more click.
