DCT Oil cooling line leaking

Hey everyone!

Looking for some guidance on replacing the oil cooler lines on a 2009 DCT trans. Noticed my return line has a slight leak and would like to replace both when I give my DCT a maintenance overhaul. It looks like I'll have to drop the entire trans to do this, but hoping I'm wrong in this assumption. Has anybody been down this road before?

Here's a picture of the lines I'm talking about:

Thanks!

That is the third most common (or least common) DCT leak and unfortunately for you it’s the hardest to access. I’m fairly certain the tranny needs to be lowered.

I don't mind dropping the trans if I must. -- Can you remove the trans without having to pull the engine? Not sure if you can access the top of the bell housing...

Any guides on how to actually replace these lines once you can access them? Are they compression fittings?

are you sure they aren't leaking at where they fit into the housing near the filter cartridge? Or is it at top? If its near the cartridge its pretty easy, as you can pull the lines out and put new o ring seals and pop them back in.
