Nice ET, but the trap speed doesn't seem that impressive.

I saw this vid on NAGTROC. This car usually traps at over 120 mph.

Where did you see a trap time? All that I saw was the 17.9 run from that POS.

AGHH yes this may be because the car ATM has a 180klm speed limiter in place. you have to ring nissan for "unlock Code " to drive at high speed . So i would suggest that as the car approached the end , the CPU retarded the power? 11.67 with reduced power lol thats crazy

After the 11.67s trap speed, I think it showed the trap speed at 179.X in kph, so that is about 110mph. The ET for the POS should be on its side of the track. The other post is correct that the lame limiter kicked in at 180kph.

So the car runs an 11.67 1/4 mile yet, the trap speed is a big concern.

POS?

Wow! Really? Suuuure

I mistakenly thought that the other car's ET was displayed there. I should have known better as I have been to the drag strip enough, although it has obviously been a while. It was a joke as to the the disparity in speed of the two cars. I think that the GT-R is a wicked car and have one coming this summer.

Someone on another forum was saying something about the trap speed being incorrect. It really doesn't seem right given the ET. Like I previously posted it should be 120ish.

That is a good point. I heard that the US cars will not have this limiter in place. I do not know if this is only in Japan, but I heard something crazy like it being limited to 115 unless the GPS recognizes that you are on an official track.

If it is limited in the states it is reason alone not to get the car. Unlocking the code is supposed to be very difficult and risky as Nissan seems adamant about voiding warranties for tampering.

no u dont, all u need is set the car to circuit mode and it will unlock the 180km/h limiter
