Must have coding features?
I'm getting my car coded tomorrow and was wondering what are some codes that are must haves. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Reading all these options reminds me of jail breaking my iPhone. So many awesome little tweaks!
My car is leased but I fully plan on purchasing at the end. Would I get any complaints if I did some coding?

Here's what I coded to my car:
Wipers return to end position after engine is off Unlock doors on engine off (or fob removal if you don't have CA) Eject keyfob on engine off (requires holding Start button for a second) Close windows & moonroof from keyfob Disable iDrive disclaimer Enable fuel stop suggestion in Route Information Alarm beep only on lock (hated the double beep on unlock) Engine Auto Start/Stop startup in last state (rather than always off) Instant MPG Euro MDM Door gong only chimes 5 times and then is silent Might add flashing brake lights rather than BFD next like Euro cars. As for other options discussed above, I actually like having the amber LED marker when the headlights are on, makes for nice accent lighting (wouldn't like it if it used the whole turn signal bulb though), and I don't like moving the fuel tank alert to 1/8 tank. The reason the reserve is set at 1/4 is because that's about how much gas you need in order to keep the fuel pump submerged in gasoline to ensure adequate cooling for it. As for disabling the window safety feature, I'd recommend that only for an E90 because on an E92/93, some carelessness on your part (or your passenger's) could lead to serious damage, e.g. someone pressing the one-touch button to roll a window up or down and then shutting the door while the (frameless) window is moving.

I code to 1/6th of a tank instead which is a nice buffer, not too soon and not too late.
