X pipe

Is there anyone close to West Palm Beach with a Meisterschaft and Xpipe installed in their car?

I would like to hear the setup in person.

Thanks!

Disagree 100%. I have the full Dinan exhaust and the X pipe is catless and quad resonated. THAT is the key. Most options only have one set of resonators, but having two sets takes the rasp out of the exhaust and it sounds extremely good, throaty at low RPMs and refined at higher RPM. I too thought my car was ungodly loud, but after driving next to some others, it really isn't. Idle is very mild.

Good to hear. Dinan makes a quad resonated xpipe? Do you have any video of your car?

Thanks!

Yes, it is quad resonated, however, Dinan no longer produces it. Its been out of production for quite a few years now. Finding one is very hard.

I have some video clips, but, where in FL are you? Would be easier to meet up and let you hear it first hand as I think videos aren't ever all that accurate when it comes to sound.

the Dinan Xpipe is IDENTICAL to the Borla Xpipe... I have seen them side by side, pretty sure Borla made it for Dinan.

Umm no. The Borla is 2 piece and the Dinan is one piece. Resonators are different, bracing is different, definitely not identical.

Meisterschaft is one of the loudest exhaust I've heard on these cars.

The rear section has the biggest impact on loudness imo. I've heard catless systems that sound perfect to me, and then stock xpipe with mufflers that sounded too loud.

I currently have a Meisterschaft GT2 with stock xpipe, cats, etc. While yes, it is louder than stock I think it is still not where I expected. If the combination with Xpipe turns out to be obnoxious I will need to find another solution. Just exploring to find the right combo.

Thanks
