Stuck in shipping limbo
I am scheduled to take PDC delivery of my new M3 on 11/29. My car has been stuck at port waiting on a ship since 10/25 with no shipping information as of right now. With estimated shipping time of +/- 3 weeks, it is getting to the point of cutting it too close. I am beginning to think that there is no way the car will get here on-time. Is anyone in the same situation? Does anyone know the next few ships that will be headed this way and the dates they are sailing?? This wait is torture. I was so ecited when I got my PDC date, but I'm beginning to think it won't happen as planned. Do cars normally sit and wait for 9 days to get assigned to a ship?

If you haven't checked with your CA you should do that. For me the website and 800 number were about 2 weeks behind, and my car was already at the Panama Canal by the time I realized it had left Bremerhaven.

It's On A Ship...
Best news I have had all week. My SA called and said that my car is officially on the Curitiba and due to land here on 11/18. PC delivery is still on....
What a day.....    |

Hey Mike,
I can't hardly wait. I wish my fiancé remotely understood my excitement though. I was in a great mood last night and turned to her and said "Only 18 more days until I get my car" with a big smile on my face and she said "Geez, it's only a damn car. What's the big deal?" They just don't have a clue do they? Either that or jealous of the attention it will get from me. Anyway, it's almost here. 11/29 is the day the fun begins. :-) |

wonder if mine is on that ship as well... my PCD is scheduled for 12/9 - it's in transit, but I haven't bothered to ask which ship yet
