P3 Guage with Velocity Stack (Pic in inside)

Ok, I am trying to run this p3 guage to get boost and vac readings. My question is this the way it should be tied together, I am used to boost gauges on turbo cars but this is a first and with not many options out there this is what I came up with. Has anyone done this? If so where did you run the tubing through the firewall? Is there a garment somewhere that enters the engine bay?

Tubing through the firewall goes down where the pedals are drivers footwell that is and blow off valve actuator ties into your vacuum line not the p3.

Near gas pedals> or the brake pedal?

I don't think you see the "T" connector. I am thinking since it "t'ed" one side goes to the stack (Boost) and the other goes to the BOV (Vac). I could be way off, I am just looking for ideas/answers.

Oh I see yah that'll work.. which cylinder you picking for the stack? You find the grommet?
You could run an IAT gauge too for the other hole in the stack.

I am running it at the front driver's side. I will add that later. I could not find one with the correct thread. If you know of one please let me know of it. I found the hole ( it was right in my face).

These work well for gauge senders, I use an awron gauge that came with an IAT sender, that's probably what the hole was threaded for. 1/8npt is pretty standard for most American aftermarket senders

If you are using the p3/Awron gauge and you want boost AND vacuum readings T off the BOV, If you want more accurate boost ONLY readings, you can use your Velocity stack access port with fitting. You cannot get vacuum readings from the velocity stack. I would not recommend linking the velocity stack and BOV.

You can use the velocity stack for AIT with an independent sensor, but it is meaningless. Your Awron/ P3 gauge will provide your with AIT temps, which is what your Tune is using to make timing decisions.

To me the velocity stack is essentially worthless unless you have 8 of them and are using them for a water/meth set up.

Yeah, I got it, but your last statement! Worthless? It serves a purpose that is otherwise difficult to achieve in this car. Getting a boost reading. Please explane your statement of "Worthless" so I can understand.

You can get an accurate boost and intake temp reading with out it. probably why they are no longer produced. I have one with the appropriate boost fitting and iat sensor for plx gauge that I can sell you.

Aaron is no longer in business but it had nothing to do with the e92 M3...P3 are still in business (I just spoke to them). I am still lost on the worthless statement!
