Michelin PS4S 285/35/18 on 18x11?

Anyone running Michelin PS4S 285/35/18 on 18x11? Want to run these but feel like the tires will be stretched. Any pics of this fitment will be appreciated!

They will be fine. Many of us have that size on 10.5 and you are only 1/2” wider. BMW runs 265 on 10.0 on the ZCP or whatever suspension models, so you would be only 3/4 inch wider tire on 1 inch wider wheel than what BMW thinks and most people agree is fine. For rim protection purposes, I’d rather go wider on the tire, though. Could you run Conti EC Sport instead or must you run P4S?

Are you running 10.5 and 285 in the front on stock suspension?

No. I assumed you meant rears since no one puts 285s in the fronts because they don’t fit.

265 on a 10 in front, 285 on an 11 in rear.

Lots of racers and autocrossers run 285-295 square sets, just depends on your suspension.

Right, they don’t fit so you have to play with the suspension. Take out the liners, use spacers, run a lot of camber, run skinny helper springs on coilovers. If the OP has a race car, he can make things work like the racers do.

285/30-18 is what fits up front relatively easily, not the 285/35-18, which hits stuff

I know Conti EC Sport have 275/35/18 and 295/35/18, but I just want to try the PS4S because of all the great review hahaha. Thank you for the information though!

Thank you for the pictures! The fitment doesn't look terribly stretched. Looks a lot better than I'd imagine.

I have the conti ECS (and love them, my 3rd set on two different cars) now on my 18's - but I've had such a great experience with the 19" PS4S I think I'm also going to go with them for my next set of 18's. You really can't go wrong with either.

The conti actually runs about the same width as the PS4S but on my cars anyway, the PS4S seems to have a bit more rim protection in the same size, so that while the tire is "stretched" or supported very well depending on who you talk to, the rim isn't anywhere close to poking out. The 19" contis I have on our E63 are really bad about this, classic conti narrowness, a 285/30-19 on a 9.5 AMG wheel looks narrower than the 275/30-19 PS4S on my 220M's.
