Considering the OP listed this car right at the end of the year - he didn't wait around long before it ended up at the VA dealer. I know because I made an appointment at the end of Jan to go see it (they've had it listed since late Jan).

FYI for anyone interested - the dealer is absolute trash, one of the typical scummy NoVa dealers that sell "luxury" cars for inflated $$$s with dumb fees. I made an appointment during the week, confirmed the appointment, then confirmed again the Saturday morning I was going to see the car. I get there and "the owner has taken it out". I told them to fuck off and I left. They kept asking me to wait around, "he'll be back soon". He supposedly came back around 5 hours later. They pestered me for a few more days and I blocked them.

Also, the VIN of that car is WBSWD9C56AP362944, it was sold on BaT 3 years ago for $33k and has an interesting history (was an Alaska car) https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2010-bmw-m3-31/

There's a reason it's been sitting there for so long - the dealership are a bunch of c nts and it's overpriced by at least 5k + whatever BS fees they're tacking on. Hope this helps someone!

Good ol'e bait and switch. Drop the price a good amount to get Car Gurus and similar sites to push the car in their ads and in a price drop email to previous viewers, then switch the price back
