FS: e9x driveshaft - for rebuild / core

Hey gents, just replaced my driveshaft from the 'clunk' noise.

This is the old drive shaft, 215km+ and does have the clunk but you could use it for core to rebuild if you want to avoid the expensive oem one and can't get one used elsewhere.

Also have new CSB that can go with it.

Also, RMP did my swap in no time.

$350 for the shaft and Centre Support Bushing.

Good deal, easy rebuild and very reasonable price.

yeah i'd actually like to see this thread become a "whose got the Ontario driveshaft core?" thread...

this way when everyone runs into this issue, which you will if you drive the car enough, we can bring the cost of repair down substantially.

this would have been a $3,500 repair at the dealer. with RMP and a good used shaft i brought it down under $1,000 and it will reduce further when this core sells.

also, E90, E92 and E93 drive shafts are intercheangable. I put an E92 in my E90.

I think you're right, but the type of transmission you have will have a different driveshaft (dct vs manual)

yes that's correct the 6 spd is different from the DCT.

the part number on the driveshaft was: 102283665 and it was stamped E92 as well but bolted right in to my E90 so this E90 shaft will work for E92 as well.

There was some confusing info out there. For clarity though, the ECS tuning site shows that E90, E92, E93 are interchangeable: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...u/26102283665/
