285 35 19 rear tires on 2011 M3 with Competition Package
Need some assistance with tire size. I just bought an 11 M3 with Competition Package. I have a set (rears only) of 285 35 19 Pirelli PZero Corsa I would like to use as track tire. Currently the rears are 285 30 19 Pilot Cup.
Anyone know if the difference between the 35 Aspect ratio will work? Thanks |

I used to have 285/35-19 Continental DW's on 19x10 o/s 22mm rears on my car with ZCP. On large dips it would rub but otherwise not bad. I actually used these tires for track days till I switched them out for Michelins. Not the best tires for tracking because they were kind of squirmy but ok for the road.

If it rubs on the street over bumps, you can bet it will REALLY rub on the track when you are cornering, braking, and accelerating hard.
Sell the Pirellis you have and buy something that fits.
