First proper wash coming out of winter. I wish Black could last longer than 15 mins.

Going to be chopping up the hood to install vents and latches in the coming weeks. Getting the track spec vents painted to match.

Just my go to cheap gloss black lip off ebay. Worry about cracking them hence why I wont shell out and buy a nice one.

I believe I got it for $180, but its up to $250 now. Fitment has been pretty spot on, this is my second one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/GLOSSY-BLAC...40d0%7Ciid%3A1

humidity from the air can condensate instantly on the threads when you take them out if the engine block is cold overnight.
Do them Joe. You actually feel a nice difference. I had not expectations as we have generally clean petrol here and I use high octane (99) only.

Another strange thing - wait for it, this is strange - is that my usual quite audible bottom end ticking (not knocking, so never worried me) is... gone.
I realize one thing has nothing to do with the other here so must be coincidence, but a nice one. We'll see when it comes back.

To match the rest of the matte carbon on my car I re-cleared my carbon splitters with a matte finish.

Update. I looked at it again with a mirror going further down. It looks like it was leaking from the filter housing. I let my friend do my oil change last time so Im assuming he didn't tighten it properly. However when I did my change this time I made sure to torque it down.

Sanded with 800/1200. Then applied a few coats of this stuff. If you ever use it make sure to wear a mask.

Not today but a month before all this covid stuff started, parked beside this Shelby replica. (please excuse the bumper hanging over the curb, forgot to engage parking brake and rolled forward for a sec)

I meant to post it yesterday, but I changed out the diff oil for Castrol Syntrax 75w-140, no extra FM.

Then went for a spirited drive.

Having an alignment done today after my Eibach Pro-Kit install I did this weekend. Local European specialist shop is picking my car up at my house and delivering it back this afternoon at no extra charge while I am at work.

Anyone interested in aftermarket do88 oil cooler/radiator stateside? With the good exchange rate nordicspeed in Canada have the oil cooler for about $200 cheaper than buying directly from Sweden. Maybe this is common knowledge but thought I'd pass it along. I'm guessing customs will charge duties in it too.

Didn't realize we had a NA distributor for
do88. That's huge! Thanks. I have their oil cooler sitting in the garage for an afternoon install. Maybe I should get the silicone coolant hoses!

Also planning to switch to Evans coolant in the coming weeks. I'm probably making a big deal out of nothing but worried about finding the engine block drains. Anyone done this without dropping the Subframe?

I believe pbonsalb has done that before. Maybe he could shine some light.

Not bad for a little over 51k mikes on it (2013 E92 Competition with a DCT).

When I bought my exhaust system second hand it had some surface rust on the connecting pipes and I wanted to paint them. I got excited and never did it. So today I removed the exhaust to finally tackle this. With the exhaust off I went for a drive #becauseracecar

(iPhone mounted to windshield with windows down. You can imagine how loud it must have been out of the car)
