Brake question
So...installed new oem rotors and pagid rs 19 fronts rs 7 rears...bedding/burnishing in on the street...takes a specail spot to do this!
Anyhow my fronts look really good nice even coat of material transfered...but the rears look wrong....a thin strip near the hub appears to be the only part of the pad making contact. the cross hatch is still on most of the rear rotor. tried turning off all electronic aids rear pads were in the rotor causing the new parts...is it possible calipers were damaged and only 1 pot is currently working...seems stange because both rears doing same thing? installer did not chamfer pads? |

Could it be because of the differenceb in pad that the fronts are biting much harder not allowing proper bedding on the rears? Just ordered carbotech xp12/10 and they will come pre bedded.

How can you "pre-"bed brake pads?? It requires your rotors and pads to be mated together--on your car!
