Hmmm...looks VERY nice. How does it mount to the muffler - is it the same clamp system as the "normal" tips? It would be nice to see a straight on shot to see what it would look like from behind the car.

So this is why you sold the last one.
Looks good. Thanks.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

That is some very very good CF work for tips, but I wouldn't get them
Would be nice to hold and admire for a bit, but I'm not a huge fan of too much CF or even showy glamorous CF parts |

there CF mufflers for the race bikes are top notch so it doesn't suprise me that those came out good. not something i would put on my car though, not into the whole CF thing. looks good though

its nice, but Im over the cf fad. As much as I love my M, a part of me is excited to buy and mod a different car because Im not doing any carbon fiber exterior parts on my next ride.

Im guessing that they used a lot of layers of a dark resin so they can handle the heat, and your seeing the exposed weave but not the spots where the edges meet.
Sick tips. Wonder if they would fit over other exhaust pipes... D |

i doubt it is painted, they have been making these in CF for awhile now and they get really hot and there is no problems. i have had them on my prior race bikes before and they hold up very well under extreme heat. the only reason i don't use them now is bc we got a different sponsor for pipes now
