New Remus Race axle back + connecting pipes

Up for sale is a barely, and I mean barely, used Remus Race axle back + Remus connecting pipe with 90mm chrome tips.

Why am I selling?:
I just picked up my new to me E92 ZCP M3 which came with a Borla ATAK already installed. I loved the sound of the Borla but was looking for something louder without touching the mid section, so basically the loudest possible axle back system. From my reading and discussion with **********s I came to the conclusion that the Remus Race would be louder than the Borla.

When the Remus arrived ans was installed I discovered that, in fact, it was not as loud as the ATAK.

I installed it on the car, listened to the idle for about 30 seconds, and went for a 2 minute (no exaggeration) drive and knew it wasn't the exhaust I was looking for and removed it straight away.

The tone was absolutely great, quality and fitment were perfect, but it was just not what I was after as far as loudness. I will say the straight cut Remus tips look amazing and I wish I could get those tips on my Borla.

Despite the poor recommendation I received from the vendor they were unwilling to accept the exhaust back and here we are. Tough luck for me on this one.

Goes without saying that the system in perfect condition with all of the hardware. System is lists for ~$1,925 with the connecting pipes and 90mm tips. Trying not to take more than a $200 hit here and asking $1,725 for what is basically a brand new Remus Race system.*UPDATE* Price drop to $1,650

Exhaust is located in Southern MA but will ship at the buyers expense.

I have the Remus Race with pipes on my car, and I can vouch for the sound: excellent character without a tremendous increase in volume, but it'll still scream especially with the windows down. There is a small bit of drone, windows up at 3k rpm, with a secondary harmonic at 2k. Not enough to bother me and I have sensitive hearing.

This sound of this exhaust as I go up an onramp and wind the motor out while listening to the sound bounce off the concrete embankment... it gives me more shivers than taking a leak in an air conditioned bathroom after an entire day swimming. A lot less mess too.

Ok, TMI. But this is a great exhaust.

Fantastic price for an excellent kit.

Anyone interested in a great sounding exhaust should consider this one. I have this on a stock x-pipe and it sounds primo. I look forward to hearing it with an HFC x pipe in the near future.

I could be wrong but I believe you have a Remus sport exhaust not the Race version. I love the tips and it's still a fantastic kit for a great price
