How are these mounted? And how wide do they have to be, from the photo looks like it take up part of the second bay. Is there a base plate and the post can be moved? Is it feasible to move with 1 person?

They are mounted using drop-in anchors. I have a set available + a hammer drill to drill the holes. I've it mounted 120" (center to center) but you can have it mounted anywhere from 48" - 120" wide. Yes, it does take up a second bay in my garage but a single person can move the post easily using a hand dolly.
