Installed an Apple Carplay emulator unit to my CIC system (bought from Alibaba), and gave her a wash yesterday.

I got the Kremersino unit: https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/...Id=33009517630
Arrived in less than a week w/free shipping, all in for ~$300. I'm just getting to know it, but I do like it so far. I posted more impressions on the Carplay thread here: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=254

Just ticked 70,000 miles.
This is when I realized that my car is actually aging backwards. I like to think of the e9x platform like a bottle of wine.... It only gets better with age. Well... here is to another 70,000 kick ass miles and smiles. Cheers lads!!! |

Drove it 530 miles to New Orleans. The 1 and only valet guy at the hotel that has ever touched the car was super cool and very professional (hotel is valet only, secured garage). He actually did a walk around and I signed saying there was no pre existing damage, so let's hope it stays that way!

Finalized oil change from yesterday and she took 9 liters exactly. Oil drained for about 2 hours. Did the push to start and release brake a few times to lube her up before running her as she was pretty dry.
