BUT, how safe do you think it is just running the single fogger right at the blower output??
Im talking about even distribution? I would think that eventually the single fogger(I don't know what "shot") will not distribute the nitrous/fuel evenly to all the cylinders.
The further the nozzle is from the intake the better the distribution when using a single fogger.

Here is photo of the nitrous setup on the last motor that I raced and built myself. The plate under the carburator is the first stage (275hp) and the fogger located in each intake port is the second stage (400hp). The motor is a 598ci all aluminum big block Ford.

That must have been a wicke setup!!!!

And, I understand that the farther away the fogger is (on a single fogger setup) the better.

I must say it looks like you know what you are doing.

More specs on the 598 big block? Nice job.

No custom tune.

The fastest 60-130 was recorded by the owner of G-Power w/ a built motor and high boost. It was an incredible 6.36.

Well it was 14:1 (ran VP C16 race fuel), Ford C460 heads, 1250 Holley Dominator, GRP rods, Venolia pistons, and made about 1000hp on motor.

Thanks man, I'm glad you told me or I would of never known (my internet shortcut takes me right to M3Post)! I know all this HP and 60-130 times is not everyone's thing, but some of us enjoy be able leave just about any car that pulls up next to our BMW M3!

Bringing thread back from the dead...

Mike, would you mind shearing the detail of where you are pulling the fuel from for your wet system? The range of possibilities are endless as some will run an entirely separate fuel system pump and all, and some get a lucky draw with a good enough OEM pump and a convenient schrader valve on the end of a factory fuel rail (ala GM LS-1s).

Care to share some details, or is it confidential?

I wouldn't mind considering a wet system, and if you are getting away with a supercharger and nitrous with not too much plumbing and an upgraded in-tank fuel pump, that would be encouraging news for guys that would like to run a straight 100 wet shot.

Details on your wet setup?

I don't know why many more people here run nitrous. Its hard on parts, but if set up correctly, can be safe and make great power, esp. on FI. A friend of mine had the fastest Lexus IS on the west coast with his IS350 on nitrous. He was running a dry setup, 100 shot, spraying into the intake. Cannot run a wet setup on those because of the DI. Another friend of mine made great power first in a chevy 350 with a 150 carb plate setup, then a 250 shot on a 383. Great power, your 598 is another beast on its own. Great job with trying something different.

More specs on your setup? Do you have a window switch? WOT switch? Bottle warmers? Why not a direct port setup right on the manifold runners? ETC. ETC.

I'd be more worried about the engine. With marginal bearings and 12:1 compression, you guys must be nuts to add boots without beefing up (and lowering CR) internals . And boost + NOs ??? What kind of life can you realistically expect of such a boosted engine? 50K miles max?Just curious.

I've not heard that the bearings on these motors are marginal. Please elaborate on this and provide examples of you would.

High compression engines are usually good candidates for nitrous from what I've seen. I won't get into timing management issues in this thread as my first concern is about fueling at this point of research.

I installed a T-fitting where the fuel pressure sensor is located before the fuel rail. There is a picture of it on my on my video.

I'm using a WOT switch with custom bracket, but a window switch is safer. I use a bottle warmer. Direct port is better, but costs more.
