DSC light changed for M3's?

05/11 build and I have the sgwiggly line car symbol. I prefer the classic symbol but don't care that much.

BMW engineers wanted to see:

1. How many posts would be started asking about the change
2. How fast a small industry would emerge to code the old symbol
3. If Akrapovic would create a $3,000, titanium "old DSC" button
4. Piss off all of the DSC notification light purists
5. Test if 335i owners would claim that after a tune, thier DSC light is better

December 2010 build and my console button has a picture of the new symbol but the classic symbol shows up on the display

Hmmm. My '11.5 X5 has the new version and it actually says, "TRACTION" right under it vs the old style on my old '10 E92 and daily beater '01 E39. I thought it was a dumber version for the US market SUV buyers lol

Nobody is complaining. Just saddened to see the old school DSC light go. None of the quotes that you have shown are direct complaints.
