Passport 9500ci & Blinder Xtreme

How well does the Passport laser Jammer work? I see a lot of people install both?

What he said. The Blinder seems to functions better than the ZR4 shifters (the 9500ci laser jammers) but not as well as the Laser Interceptor. See guys of lidar summer 2008 test results. (google it)

Cheers.

Wasn't Laser Interceptor sued for patent infringement by Blinder in 2009. What ever happened with that? If they are suing for patent infringement, it seems like they are using similar technologies so performance should be pretty close.

I don't know. AFAIK, nothing has happened yet. LI is still in business. But as a matter of fact, yes, they are all similar technologies.

Cheers.

Just an update, instead of the 9500ci I went with Beltronics STiR, it's the same exact hardware but doesn't have the laser shifters so I saved $500. I went with Laser Interceptor for jamming.

Congratulations! That is the ultimate setup at this time. Make sure it is installed correctly and get it tested against real radar and lidar.

Cheers.
