I'm now on OC All colors/options listed except 19" wheels and M-DCT as others have reported.
Tentative production week per the 800 line was week 19 but my CA thinks that I will move up and he expects the car to be in Boston by end of April/early May. We'll see but the May/June timeframe was what I expected given my place on the list, 19" wheels and M-DCT. |

I am attaching the schedules for the West Coast NA shipping routes, Feb-Mar.
If my car is finished by the 2nd or the 3rd as they told me, even if it manages to hop onto a boat in 7-10 days after that, it will won't be in NY until March 27th. So it looks like I'll get my car the first or the second week of April. I was hoping for late March somehow... The schedules are updated at: http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...RouteSearch.do |

Early April delivery on a week 10 build? Isn't that a little too presumptuous?

If that is the case. Then I should be expecting the 2-3 week of April. That would be satisfactory.

I asked the rep about the wait on the docks part? (which reminds me of "On the Waterfront" with Marlon Brando by the way). She said that was very unpredictable and that they are not giving any estimates. But based on the reports so far, it seems like the wait on the docks can take anywhere from 10 days to 3 weeks.

Car goes into production week 10, gets completed by week 11, lets say it takes a week to get on the ship...thats week 12. Then 2 weeks in transport, and say...3-5 days for prep. Thats week 15 right there, which is the 2nd week of April.

I see, well it does depend on the volume of cars in front of yours also awaiting transport. So lets say 2 weeks to get onto the ship, Mid-April delivery is still acceptable. Hell, any delivery time in April is ok with me.

It might be easier to optimize their shipping costs with the vendors with a larger pile of cars waiting to filter out variations due to production output or destination etc. Meaning they can probably contract more ships/stops from the vendors if they wanted to, but I bet that's not cost effective as they might not be able to fill their shipping volume quota or something like that? I don’t know, just speculating.

If your car starts production early next week, it is reasonable to expect it in NJ the 2nd or the 3rd week of April.
