Louder Stock Exhaust
Is is possible to remove the second cats and the resonators in order to get a louder stock exhaust?
Has anyone done this?

dont think it would sound good... its better to change the mufflers and leave the resonators ... think without resonators all you'll be getting more of is drone.

It's worth a try for the resonators. My X5 4.6 sound just a tad louder/deeper with the resonators removed. It's also pretty cheap to do. You could do it in a step wise way.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
