Will these work on the m3? It looks like they work on all 3 series but the manufacturer website doesn’t list the M and I thought the m had different subframe bushings unless they’re the same exact shape as the normal 3 but a stiffer rubber?
The directions say you just take out the bolts. No lowering the subframe with threaded rods or disconnecting brake lines or removing the exhaust. If these bring close to the performance of the solid bushings then they are an amazing time saver.. |

Looks like the inserts does not list the M3 as one of the cars it'll work on.
I'm assuming the insert is just for the softer regular 3 series bushings.

Any developments on this? Have we confirmed these won't fit?

Few people do subframe bushings because of the work involved and the people who actually do it don't use inserts.

I have a 335i that makes ~400 ft/lbs of torque to the wheels. I installed the 034 inserts about 10k miles ago. They're solid, and the difference is very noticeable. After reading this post they are not a bandaid, as someone mentioned. On a 335i the stock bushings mounting hole is encased in rubber and the rubber is able to pivot from the center of the bushing. Each end of the bushing has a void that allows the articulation to occur. The inserts fill those top and bottom voids with aluminum and a pressure fit is made when reattaching the subframe to the car. With the voids filled, the pivot point is almost entirely neutralized. I understand how someone could take a quick glance at these and think they're just a clever gimmick, but they'd be wrong. I am currently building a 650+ HP 335is with around 7-8k in suspension mods alone, and I will be using the inserts again for this car. Not sure if this will help you M3 owners but if a 335i owner needs to greatly stiffen their suspension on a budget and with less labor, these are for you.
