if your tire doesn't leak, just leave it. That's better than taking it out and trying to repair.
Taking that nail off most likely ends up needing a new tire anyway.

Well just came back from tire shop.. not repairable.
Never had a nail in the tire for the past 15 years of driving. Now within 3 months i've gotten 2 and both times the tires were not replaceable. I guess I should of gotten tire/wheel insurance.

I did once with Eagle F1 GS-D3 tire with nail for over 1 year (used full life cycle out of the tire).

Reputable shops will not repair... A mom and pop may throw a patch on it.
Next time get the Wheel/Tire warranty that the dealerships sell. Mine cost 1K and so far this year alone they have replaced 2 PS2's and it has not cost me a dime. (both were from nails) |
