He might be forced to kill me if he found out that I "talked."

Just check for Automated Phone Lady to switch to "In Transit," and that will be your signal that it's at the Performance Center. Don't sweat it. With David Aviles in charge of your order, you're in good hands.

Still on track this morning - "in the paint shop". Need to find me a ship for next week.

Says still in production estimated completion date is March 11th. They are really taking their time on this one, fine with me.

She's still saying "currently in production, estimated completion date is March 8th." for me. ED in less than two weeks!

I ordered my car 3 weeks ago, and when i call my CA he says he doesnt know when its going into production. I think he is a rookie, is there any way I can find out my production week? He gave me my production number and when i call the 800 number its says no confirm date.

Yikes! - called this morning expecting to here the next sequence after "in paint shop" and instead got "Your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit".

Assuming that means I am on the train to Bremerhaven. That was either very fast or wrong. Here's hoping for fast

Update: CA says still shows in production. Auto lady is a bit jumpy it appears.

Call the dealership and get someone there to log onto the system and give you the production week if there is one. I suspect however even a rookie can do that.

You need to speak to a customer service rep at the 800 number. They can give you an estimate. I ordered mine on Feb 22nd. The estimated build week is March 13th or Week 11.

Well, four different status reports on my car as of this morning

The web site has said production started (for a week and half now). The nice automated lady says the car is "in transport to exit port". My CA says car is still in production and this morning a live 800# customer service rep says production is just starting today.

My CA obviously has the most reliable data, but man these systems are out of whack.

Great, some company on the train

Was that status from the 800# automatic lady? Hopefully we can grab a ship this week, there are three heading to east coast, W, TH and Friday. Has your CA given you any other additional info because the auto lady is a bit sketchy and the web site is unreliable?

I haven't called him yet. I might though now. 800# tells me on the choo-choo heading to the port. That's quick trip thought I think, so I bet we're really at the port.

Yep, I think it is a little over 300 miles to Bremerhaven. What port of entry would you go into for your cars? Let me know if you get any intel from your CA and I will do the same.

Hope they are not stacked up at the port

I'm a week 8 - per 800# production completed 23rd of Feb. Ultimate destination is New York. 800# tells me "waiting for vessel", website only at production finished and my sales rep has no shipping info (but confirmed the 2/23 completion). Seems like a long time at port. Anyone else in similar situation ?

Mine was completed 2/18 and is still waiting for a ship. I confirmed with my CA this morning.

I am beginning to think M stands for "Marooned"

Wow, there have been at least 10 ships heading to east coast since that week. Must be a huge backlog of cars. Keep us informed.

It was at one time to be a PCD but, when I was given a date of April 15, and I knew it was nearing completion, I changed it back to local delivery to save a few weeks. That change may have some impact on my delay.

Had I known it would take this long, I would have opted to push my build to Week 9 for 6NR and then taken PCD.

Mine was ordered 1/14. Got a projected week 8 production date about 2 weeks later. Was produced on schedule (2/23) Website 800# updates were pretty timely (about 24 hrs delay) up through "awaiting vessel" update on 2/26. Have been waiting since.

Based on extensive/obsessive reading of these forums seems like my car could be anywhere between Bremerhaven and New York - the accuracy is sort of random, especially between BMW handoff and pickup.

Will post any updates.
