Getting wheels installed in the area, would like a perfectionist...

I'd like to have the wheels installed without scratches. I realize most shops throw it on there, leave scratches, etc. but are there any in NOVA that actually take their time and care for the wheels like it was their own?

I'm guessing they are very rare, but if someone could recommend someone, I'd appreciate it.

RRT is the place you're looking for. But I have to ask, you just need the wheels put on your car?

Appreciate that.

Sorry, I need to have the tires removed from my ZCP's, then put on the new wheels, mounted, wheel weights (hopefully they have black ones, I'm anal sorry). Just don't want brand new wheels getting scratches. I realize in time, the scratches will come, but I'd like to have whoever puts them on, take care of them.

Thanks again.

RRT has hunter equipment and black (and silver) weights. Pricing straight fwd based on size (assumed aspect ratios) or hourly based on less straight forward work like stretch installs or donk sizing.

I have had great luck at Craftsman Autocare. Yeh, they aren't a sport shop but they have a road force balancer and a couple color wheel weights. Additionally and most importantly they mounted tires on my newly refinished grey wheels without a scratch. I went to the one in Springfield but you most likely would have the same experience at another location as they are a local chain in NOVA.

They also do track inspections while you wait if you need one.

Do you have the name of the technician you can share? For the bigger shops finding a good tech to go back to is key and it is nice to find someone good in your neighborhood for stuff like tire swaps.

Also, if you are hitting up somewhere local to just get it done, take note of wheel weights before going in. They may leave the old ones on and just add additional weights when rebalancing leaving you with a crapton of wheel weights.
