Le Mans Blue or Space Gray?

okay, E90 sedan, what would you guys pick, Le Mans Blue (all I have seen is pictures, haven't found one in Chicago to look at in person) with black leather or Space Gray with Red Leather? I figure the gray can get boring but red leather should be a great combo and make it more distinct, Blue won't get as boring but I will have a boring black interior (don't like the beige or gray).

+1....SSII/FR is mine! Prolly best combo out there IMHO.

That being said...back on point: Le Mans vs Space Grey is a tough call...both are stunning....I do think though that Space Grey on FR is amazing!!...so if your thinking bout getting FR...my vote would be SG!

I say Space Gray because it's pretty close to Silver Gray, the color of the CSL (as well as Jet Black). I think the color makes the car look more aggressive for some reason.

EDIT: This reinforces my opinion

I have heard SS/FR can be harsh because of the green/blue that is in the silverstone. of course I have never seen this combo in person or in pictures so I can't judge it but am avoiding it for now. I really thought about LeMans Blue with Fox Red (in fact I think BMW displayed one with that combo even though its not "recommended" in their M3 brochure), just think resale might be impossible on a "superman" car...

How would you guys who have seen LMB describe it compared to other cars blues? I mean is it more electric or a dull blue? I have seen the new Land Rover LR2 electric blue which I thought I loved at first but then got to be too much after a while (had it as a loaner for a day), and today I just saw the new WRX bright blue and liked it. Pictures never show how these cars really look.

I've seen both that you list, and both look good IMHO.

However, last month while passing through Baton Rouge, LA, I saw a Jerez Black / Bamboo Beige sedan. If I were going to get a sedan rather than a coupe, that combo would be the ticket for me. Having said that, I'm probably a little less prejudiced against the relatively "neediness" of black paint that many regard as "high maintenance"; which it is: To me, I can't imagine Jerez Black being any more difficult than black sapphire metallic paint on my wife's ride.

I say do Le Mans Blue just because it's a rarer color. But either one looks good. You really can't go wrong with any of the color combos offered on the M3.

I voted LeMans/Black, but Space Grey/FR was a CLOSE second to my Interlagos. I could barely make the call, and if the lighting were different on order day it probably would have been SG for me.

Lemans blue is much more of a younger, vibrant color.
Space Gray is more serious. It has that expensive, mature look to it I guess.

For me, I chose IB. It's a very nice color with a whole lot of emotion in it.

This my same issue...

I love Le Mans blue and I love the Red Interior....cant do Le Mans + Red as I dont want to look like Superman.

So I have to decide if I want the Interior I love (Red) on exterior I am ok with (Gray) or Exterior I love (Le Mans) with Interior I am ok with (Black).

I went for LMB + Black Extended - really happy with choice.

Previously had Space Gray and colour didn't really change when clean vs. dirty and IMHO didn't have the wow factor after a good detail. Wheras LMB after some TLC looks AMAZING and like new every time!
